After moving here we searched and search and found a wonderful pumpkin patch that we've taken the kids to every year since finding it. Said pumpkin patch is quite a little drive just for a pumpkin patch so we thought we'd try to find something new. Well, let me tell ya....easier said than done. After calling some local nurseries they put us in touch with one of the sweetest gentlemen. He gave us a call and we told him what we were kind of looking for and he filled us in on a few things he could do for us. He waited for us to arrive at his little farm so that the kids could help feed, geese, chickens, and a long horn. They were able to see a mule, kittens, a horse, goats and a sweet baby pig. Due to the drought his home grown pumpkins were a no go, but he had some there for sale (commercial) and we were able to let the kids each pick out their own. We ended up leaving with four large pumpkins, a bale of hay, dried sugarcane for decoration, a couple fresh eggs right outta the nest (A total highlight for the little man to pick those out of the nest) and a super special experience as a family! Thank you Mr. Klein!!!!!
